Allandale Homes

Allandale is located south of Anderson Lane between Mopac and Burnet Road. The neighborhood was developed between the 1940s and the 1960s. However, most of the homes have been updated or remodeled since that time. The average size of a home in Allandale is 1,800 square feet, but they range in size from 1,100 to 3,500 square feet.

Recreation in Allandale

Residents of Allandale enjoy a community pool, a baseball field, tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas and a pond. It is also a great place for dog owners because of the leash free park on the other side of Shoal Creek from Northwest Park. There are also lots of sidewalks if you enjoy taking a walk or jog through the neighborhood.

There are many wonderful restaurants and great shopping nearby. Along Anderson Lane and Burnet Road, you will find so many new places to try, including Houston's, Ichiban, Amy's Ice Cream, Zen, Satay, Fonda San Miguel, Chinatown, and Musashino.

Allandale Schools

The schools in Allandale are highly rated and close enough for children to bike or walk to. They include, Gullet Elementary, Lamar Middle School, and McCallum High School.
